What is Pending Review and how long does it take?
The risk-team review that follows the automatic conditions, how long it takes, and the possible outcomes including approval with adjustment.
Once the automatic phase conditions are met, the account does not pass automatically; it first enters Pending Review so the risk team can confirm the phase was completed within the rules. This is a standard quality check, not a penalty.
When do I enter this state?
- The minimum trading days are complete
- The active days are complete
- The profit target has been reached
- Neither the daily nor the overall drawdown has been breached
How long the review takes
| Type of review | Maximum time |
|---|---|
| Phase one | 1 business days |
| Phase two (and three on the three-phase challenge) | 2 business days |
| Payout request | 2 business days |
Opening new positions is paused until the outcome of the review is known.
What does the risk team check?
They check that the profit target was reached through an acceptable trading pattern — including the number of separate profitable days and the 40% cap on any single day's share of the profit.
Possible outcomes
- Full approval and promotion to the next stage
- Approval with adjustment
- Returned to continue trading
- Escalated for further risk review if suspicious behaviour is found
What does approval with adjustment mean?
It means part of the statement did not qualify towards completing the phase, but once the non-qualifying trades are removed the account still meets the target and can move to the next stage on the adjusted balance. If the adjusted balance falls below the target, the account is reactivated on that adjusted balance and you can carry on trading.
Frequently asked questions
Is Pending Review a penalty on my account?
